Pallets ship from Sunpro Power, JA Solar, Mission Solar, Waaree, and ZN Shine stock already in U.S. warehouses, at the published $/W, in 3–5 business days. Containers are quoted on volume and arrive on a schedule. Neither is the better answer in general — the binding constraint on your project decides, and this page puts both on one table with live figures rather than a list price.
Every row below is a real difference, not a selling point. The one that decides most orders is the third: a pallet is stock you can have this week, a container is capacity you are scheduling.
| By the pallet | By the container | |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum order | 1 pallet | 20+ pallets (≈ 1 × 40ft HC) |
| Pricing | Public $/W and $/pallet, three tiers | RFQ, priced on volume |
| Lead time | 3–5 business days after PO + deposit | Reserved now, arriving Sept–Nov 2026 |
| Available now | 92.16 MW landed | 169.33 MW inbound |
| Freight | LTL from the warehouse holding the lot | Full load, one origin |
| Documentation | Invoice, packing list, BOL, serials | Same, plus container manifest |
5,416 pallets across CA, GA, NJ and TX, 17 products with published pricing. This is what a pallet order draws from.
0.76 MW in Sept 2026 · 6.61 MW in Oct 2026 · 161.95 MW in Nov 2026. Quoted and reserved, not sold from the shelf — this is what a container order schedules.
Give us the volume and the destination and we will quote landed pallets and a container against each other, freight included, so the comparison is on your lane rather than in the abstract.
By the pallet if you need the modules soon: 92.16 MW is in U.S. warehouses today and ships in 3–5 business days after a signed PO and deposit, at the published $/W on this site with no RFQ. By the container if the volume is large and the schedule allows a wait — container quantities are quoted via RFQ and priced on volume, and 169.33 MW is already inbound Sept–Nov 2026. The trade is price against time, and only you know which one is binding on your project.
One pallet for commercial buyers, with public pricing covering 1–19 pallets. A container is 20+ pallets, roughly one 40ft high-cube, priced via RFQ. There is no gap between them: an order of 20 pallets can be quoted either way, and we will quote both if the destination makes the freight comparison worth running.
Not always, and not automatically. A container improves the per-watt economics on the modules, and it changes the freight: one full load instead of several LTL shipments. Whether the total lands cheaper depends on the lane, the destination and whether you can take a full container at once. Published pallet pricing today starts at $0.2425/W at the 11+ tier for ZXM7-SHLDD144-550W; a container quote is compared against that, not against a list price.
Landed pallets ship in 3–5 business days from the warehouse holding them. Inbound allocation — 0.76 MW in September 2026, 6.61 MW in October 2026, 161.95 MW in November 2026 — is reserved rather than shipped: the container discharges, clears and then ships to you. If your schedule cannot absorb that, the answer is landed stock even at a higher $/W.
Yes, and for a phased build it is usually the right structure: take landed pallets for the first phase and reserve inbound allocation for the later ones at the volume price. A reservation is against the lot rather than the date, so a slipped vessel does not release your volume.
